The Spatial Sciences Research Lab (SSRL) has been a vital contributor of geographical research at the University of Victoria since 1985. We are a project-based research group, working collaboratively across departments and Universities, and are also home to graduate students who work on individual research interests revolving around GIS-based spatial decision support systems and education for a broad range of applications, from tourism to population health.
